Trance UK Trailer

"Where is it?!" It's here! Danny Boyle getting back into the deceptive art of sleek crime thrillers. MSN UK has debuted the first UK trailer for Danny Boyle's Trance, his new art heist movie starring James McAvoy as a thief. He's hunted by an art auctioneer, played by Vincent Cassel, who employees the special skills of a hypnotist, played by Rosario Dawson. I do like that we get to see a bit of the original heist and some of the other plot twists and turns, but they may have shown a few too many, especially with Dawson. It has some odd trippy visuals, but otherwise looks like another solid feature by the talented Mr. Danny Boyle.

Watch the first official UK trailer for Danny Boyle's new film Trance, originally from MSN UK:

An art auctioneer who has become mixed up with a group of criminals partners with a hypnotherapist in order to recover a lost painting. "It takes the idea of a stolen painting and develops into something sleeker and more psychological, with twists and turns." Trance is directed by Oscar winning British filmmaker Danny Boyle, of the films Trainspotting, The Beach, 28 Days Later, Sunshine, Slumdog Millionaire and 127 Hours previously. The screenplay was co-written by Joe Ahearne & John Hodge. Trance will be released in UK cinemas on March 27th. Fox Searchlight is releasing in the US, but hasn't set our date yet. Stay tuned!

HeadHunters did something similar. It utilized GPS tracking instead of hypnotist, so it seems like it is the more realistic version. I highly recomend Headhunters

or so they want you to think. actually it didn't seem that straight forward, there's obviously some other plot point by him remembering whatever he did at the end of the trailer.

Boyle is the man from Shallow Grave, Trainspotting and 28 Days Later, to name a few. Based on that, there is a good chance this is not your generic heist flick. I am curious.

Must watch: Danny Boyle + one of the finest actors of his generation - James McAvoy. Trailer was awesome as well
