Renaissance man James Franco is back at Sundance this year, and he's making things a little sexy. This time the Spider-Man and Pineapple Express star is producing a documentary from director Christina Voros called Kink, which takes a closer, practical look at the fetish website Kink.com and all their adult operations. Kink.com is the largest producer of BDSM. Now the first red band trailer for the documentary has arrived, and while the content is obviously for adults, there's not any nudity or depiction of explicit sex acts. There's some raunchy talk and off-camera action and sounds, but this looks pretty intriguing. Watch!
Here's the first red band trailer for Christina Voros' Kink via SlashFilm:
Kink.com is the Internet’s largest producer of BDSM content and their directors and models strive for authenticity. In an enterprise often known for exploitative practices, Kink.com upholds an ironclad set of values to foster an environment that is safe, sane, and consensual. They aim to demystify the BDSM lifestyle, and to serve as an example and an educational resource for the BDSM community. Christina Voros directs this documentary Kink which turns the lens on a seemingly misunderstood subculture. James Franco produces the film premiering at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival this month but has no release date yet.

I love the people at kink.com and the armory so I'll definitely be watching. I've met a few of them on different occasions around the bay area and they've been really sweet.

I'm not afraid to admit that I recognize a lot of those sets. This is a must see.

This is really very interesting. While I'll definitely keep an open mind as to the industry and culture while watching, though, I highly doubt my opinion on BDSM enthusiasts in and of themselves will ever stray much from trepid anxiety.

There's absolutely no reason why BDSM should be immediately condemned as wrong. I'm glad that some of the stigmatisation is being cleared up.

I've been watching the actual kink websites for years, yes it's pain but its pleasurable, keep an open mind, don't say no before its been given a chance, if you think about it as being completely helpless, but being worked on by lots of different men (if your a woman) it's quite a turn on and the pain is just fun đŸ™‚

How to change the income and popularity of this film with a few words? Call it "50 shades of Kink", and it's mainstream. Let consenting adults LARP as they wish đŸ˜‰
