Forthcoming Batman Documentary 'Legends of the Knight' First Trailer
There's a reason Batman is a legend. It's not just a mythology of comics, a handful of films and tons of toys, but rather what Batman stands for that makes him stand the test of time. Now a new documentary from Brett Culp is on the way that shows just how Batman has influenced people's lives. However, the film is less about Batman himself, and more about the people who have made The Dark Knight a part of their lives and use him as a symbol to enrich the lives of others. From a man who travels the country in a real-life Batmobile to a child fighting Leukemia, these people are Legends of the Knight. See the trailer below!
Here's an extended trailer for Brett Culp's Legends of the Knight, originally from THR:
Legends of the Knight is a feature-length, not-for-profit documentary film about the power of storytelling to create positive change in our lives and in the world around us. Over many decades, Batman has motivated people around the globe to overcome devastating obstacles, to help and encourage young people, or to be a vital contributor to the community. The Dark Knight Legacy has also been a vehicle for connecting people to each other and stirring the hero within. The film has been funded through Indiegogo and Kickstarter and director Brett Culp is hoping to have it finished up in time for Comic-Con in San Diego this summer. Cool?

The western world is headed toward an economic dark ages where most people will struggle just to get enough food to eat and a find a place to live and this guys wants money to make a fricken batman doc like thats the answer to our troubles? WTF? What fantasy planet are people living on? Stop watching movies and tv and vote libertarian in all elections and maybe the west can recover in about 10 years, if your lucky. Or you can spend what little credit you have left on your mastercard to watch batman docs and then slide off into oblivion. YOUR CHOICE.

Why so mean? This guy just wants to make a documentary about a pop-culture symbol that resonates with most of the western World, and yet here you are, taking the piss, acting like the economy is all that counts. Like we should sacrifice culture in favour of money. Isn't it just okay for us to sometimes go to fantasy because, according to you, the world is going to shit? Seriously, quit being a buzzkill, there are far worse ways to spend money than this, and sometimes cash just isn't the point.

You realize you were wasting time on the internet, on a movie website no less, when you wrote that, right?

Sounds like Batman is getting the same kind of docu treatment Star Trek, Serentity, Lord of the Rings and a few other iconic franchises and their i pact on the fans have gotten. Sounds cool.
