Halle Berry & Abigail Breslin in Second Creepy Trailer for 'The Call'

The Call

"You're just an operator. What are you gonna do?" It looks like Halle Berry is going beyond the call of duty as a 911 operator. In this new trailer for The Call, the context of past adolescent murder is taken away and focuses on just this new abduction. Abigail Breslin is snatched in a parking garage and attempts to dial 911 from the trunk of a car, and Berry is the operator with something to prove after blaming herself for the aforementioned murder. This trailer has some creepy moments and feels a little less generic than the first trailer, which just felt like Taken 3. We're not expecting much out of this one, but maybe it'll be good.

Here's the second trailer for Brad Anderson's thriller The Call, originally from Moviefone:

Brad Anderson (The Machinist, Transsiberian) directs The Call from Exit Wounds writer Rich D'Ovidio. In order to save a young girl (Abigail Breslin), an emergency operator (Halle Berry) must confront a killer from her past. Michael Imperioli and Morris Chestnut also star in the thriller hitting theaters on March 15th.

I don't trust movie trailers that are "quick cut-bang-scratchy soundtrack." Says to me that they don't think the movie can scare you any other way besides cheap jump scares.
