Movies in Real Life Indiana Jones

Watch out for the boulder… with legs… Indy! This week's latest "Movies in Real Life" video from Improv Everywhere parodies the classic boulder scene from Raiders of the Lost Ark. Not that we haven't seen this kind of stunt before, but it's still fun to see, especially from the guys at Improv Everywhere as they take Indy through Central Park in New York and eventually to the American Museum of Natural History where he tries to return the idol. "That belongs in a museum!" The first video in this series was inspired by Rocky in Philadelphia. They have more every week, but for a bit of Indiana Jones amusement today, fire this up.

Here's the second episode of "Movies in Real Life" inspired by Spielberg's 1981 Raiders of the Lost Ark:

From Improv Everywhere: A man dressed as Indiana Jones ran through the park with the golden idol as he was chased by a man in an enormous custom-built boulder costume. The chase started in Central Park's Ramble, a wooded area that resembles the location from the film. The chase continued through more populated parts of the park, surprising tourists and sun-bathing New Yorkers alike. The project ended with Indy attempting to return the idol to the American Museum of Natural History. This is the latest in Improv Everywhere's new series Movies in Real Life. "Every Tuesday, we’re releasing a new video that brings an iconic movie moment to life in the real world." Last week it was Rocky. Follow for their latest videos here.
