August 28, 2013

The horror sequel Insidious: Chapter 2 doesn't hit theaters until Friday the 13th in September, but Film District wants to make sure you're getting excited for the next installment in the supernatural horror tale with a special double feature. The studio has just announced plans for The Ultimate Insidious Experience, which will allow fans to watch Insidious and the forthcoming sequel back-to-back on Thursday, September 12th. But for those who don't have time for a double feature, you can just buy a ticket to the sequel. For a list of participating theaters, check out the film's website, and get ready for terror!

James Wan (Saw, Insidious, The Conjuring) directs Insidious: Chapter 2 with a script from writer Leigh Whannell (Saw, Insidious). In the terrifying sequel to the acclaimed horror film, the haunted Lambert family seeks to uncover the mysterious childhood secret that has left them dangerously connected to the spirit world they thought was left behind. Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Barbara Hershey and Ty Simpkins return for the sequel which Film District releases on Friday, September 13th, this fall. Scared?
