Irish Actor & Model Jamie Dornan Takes 'Fifty Shades of Grey' Lead
Following Pacific Rim star Charlie Hunnam's exit from the adaptation of Fifty Shades of Grey from Universal and Focus Features, Variety reports they have found a replacement in Jamie Dornan. Audiences might be familiar with the actor and fashion model from his role as Sheriff Graham Humbert on the ABC series "Once Upon a Time" or a small role in Marie Antoinette, but he's a largely unknown name. That move might benefit him as he gets ready to play Christian Grey, the character who has made women of all ages tingle with lust. It'll be interesting to see what fans say with this since there was some anger about Hunnam.
Hunnam's departure was said to be about scheduling, but since then many sources have said he had creative differences with the script. Anyway, Dornan joins Dakota Johnson (The Social Network, The Five-Year Engagement) who is playing an impending college graduate named Anastasia Steele, who strikes up an S&M romance with successful young entrepreneur Christian Grey, the physical and emotional dominant to her submissive personality. It's a sexually charged, best-selling novel, and we'll see whether or not it lives up to the hype that fans have been creating for months now. The film arrives August 1st, 2014.

Oh great this movie is still happening....just what the world absolutely needs another movie based on an overrated book. Who in the right mind thought this would be a great idea for a Hollywood film it literally has a plot as cheesy as any cheap porno gets.

You're forgetting this guy is one of the leads on "The Fall" - watch it on Netflix. Excellent show.

This movie will get marketed to the hilt, just like the ridiculously bad books it's based upon.
