Jason Momoa in Talks for an Unknown Role in 'Batman vs. Superman'

Add one more cast member to the growing roster of Batman vs. Superman. Just last week we learned that Fast & Furious actress Gal Gadot was taking the role of Diana Prince (aka Wonder Woman) in the ever-expanding DC Entertainment adaptation at Warner Bros., and now one more cast member has entered the mix. THR has word that former "Game of Thrones" and Conan the Barbarian reboot star Jason Momoa has landed an unknown role in the sequel pitting Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck against each other as the Man of Steel and The Dark Knight. Could Momoa be playing an unknown villain, or another hero?
The trade speculates that Momoa could be on the side of the heroes as someone like Martian Manhunter, a superhero from the planet Mars and the last surviving member of his race. His natural abilities include super-strength, super-speed, invulnerability, flight, shape-shifting, intangibility and telepathy, and he's been a part of nearly every single iteration of Justice League. Of course, we're just sure just how expansive the roster for DC's superhero ensemble will be at first. He's got the physique for it, and Momoa was also up for the role of another cosmic hero in Guardians of the Galaxy, but the role went to wrestler Dave Bautista.
On the other hand, there's speculation that Momoa could go bad and play the major Superman villain Doomsday, the result of Kryptonian genetic engineering gone awry. Doomsday is a big deal because he was the one responsible for the death of Superman in the infamous storyline back in 1992. Supposedly there are even hints of Doomsday in the extras of the home video release of Man of Steel. Momoa also has the strength to pull off such an epic villain, but his acting chops have yet to be proven on a substantial level. But after seeing him as Khal Drogo on "Game of Thrones," it's not hard to picture him in the role. Here's hoping we get a real idea of the story sometime early next year when the film goes in front of cameras.

This casting is just starting to get weird now. Jason Momoa? Really? Definitely should not as Martian Manhunter because that role does not fit him well. There were rumors Metallo could be in the film, either that or Doomsday. Hopefully not Lex Luthor also.

Yeah. They are screwing things up so much. Less is more. They could have just done "World's Finest", made a billion dollars and made the fans happy.

This man cannot act. Some sort of silent antagonist, ala darth maul, would be fine. He is extremely athletic but CANNOT ACT.

This is just getting silly. I was all in for Batman and Superman being together in a movie. But now with Wonderwoman and a possible other superhero it seems to be blowing up too quickly.

The same here. I was excited when it was anounced Batman and Supreman would be in the same movie, which ment they could set the atmosphere between the characters for further expansion down the road, but now it looks like all the other editions could overshadow this developement. I am affraid when they announce the official title it will be Justice League.

In using the keywords Symbio Telepathy in Internet could be the numerous places about the principally Telekinetic Telepathy which already is proven. And within the years nobody said, that he came to the possibility say Not. About the existance there mentioned abilities of the proven telepathy. This symbio way appeared from Lithuania as the very effortless explained form. And in any way it was the very prepared conclusions form, that today exist a simple shame's condition of American experts, who were not the enough smart to concluse something better. And it is the indeed dangerous powers training way. Symbio Telepathy. Two keywords to find manything visible, that the real man in this field should be even more competetive faighter VS. Superman.

First off, Doomsday should not be incorporated this early. Hell, he is one of supermans dangerous villains who ends up almost killing superman for good. We need about 3 good supermans before he is involved. It could take all of justice leage to wipe this guy out along with Darkseid. Please dont screw this up.

So this "Superman VS Batman" movie is becoming more and more like an Avengers-type thing. I think they (DC) would be better served to take time and craft things and people before throwing them all together. Sure, not every hero would need their own movie first, but too much too soon will make it tough to follow.

I don't know wy you people think that just because wonder woman (or potentially another superhero) is announced to be in the film, it means she has a main role in it. Samuel L Jackson was in the first Ironman after all and all that did was set up future movies.
