Jason Sudeikis and Rose Byrne Get a Little Romantic in 'Tumbledown'
by Ethan Anderton

Later this year we'll see Jason Sudeikis get into some trouble with Jennifer Aniston in We're the Millers as his family gets caught up in a drug deal. Now the "Saturday Night Live" star is teaming up with another big screen beauty as Deadline reports the comedian will join Rose Byrne (Bridesmaids, Get Him to the Greek) in a new romantic comedy called Tumbledown. The film follows a young widow (Byrne) who falls for a New York writer (Sudeikis) who sweeps her back to a rural town in Maine where she grew up to investigate the death of her husband, who is actually a folk-music hero. Sounds fairly unconventional to me.
The supporting cast has some great names to help out including Olivia Munn, Joe Manganiello, Blythe Danner, Michael McKean and Beau Bridges. The film is written by newcomer Desi Van Til and will also mark the feature film debut of Sean Mewshaw, though both worked on a Venice Film Festival selected short film called Last Night starring Frances McDormand. At the very least, teaming up Sudeikis with Byrne sounds like an interesting match, and this might mean more leading roles in the future for Sudeikis.
