Kelsey Grammer Set to Play the Human Villain in 'Transformers 4'

After getting blue and furry for X-Men: The Last Stand, last year's Emmy winning star of the series "Boss" is heading back to the big screen. Deadline has word that Kelsey Grammer, most famous for his role as Frasier Crane on "Cheers" and the spin-off "Frasier," will play the human villain in the 2014 blockbuster Transformers 4. Though no story details have been revealed yet, Grammer is said to be playing Harold Attinger, a counter intelligence guy. But we don't know why he's causing problems for our heroes, which include Mark Wahlberg, The Last Airbender star Nicola Peltz and rising star Jack Reynor as the male lead.
Earlier this year Michael Bay talked about the sequel which isn't exactly a reboot since it takes place four years after Dark of the Moon, "The history of the first three movies is still there. We start four years later and there’s a reason why we’re meeting a new cast. We keep the 'Transformers' the way they were. It’s just four years later. There’s a reason the Transformers are redesigned. We’re trying to broaden the franchise and give it more places to go." Oh, and CinemaCon brought news that Stanley Tucci is supposed to have some sort of role in the sequel as well. Hopefully we'll get some story details sooner than later.
