Lars von Trier's 'Nymphomaniac' Set for March/April 2014 US Release

Briefly: Magnolia Pictures has confirmed official US release dates and details for Lars von Trier's already-controversial Nymphomaniac, the sexual biopic starring Charlotte Gainsbourg. The film is first hitting theaters in Denmark at the end of this month, leading into 2014. Magnolia says Nymphomaniac: Part 1 will open in US theaters on March 21st, 2014, hitting VOD earlier on March 6th. A month later, Part 2 will open in theaters on April 18th, 2014, also hitting VOD earlier on April 3rd. This should cause quite a stir. I expect the film community to be abuzz with Nymphomaniac chatter throughout March and April. Part 1 deals with her adolescence and young-adulthood; Part 2 tells the story of Joe's adulthood. First trailer here.

Very cool, but that's the censored version? Are they releasing the full version on VOD?

Very jealous. I was considering a trip to Denmark where it opens in 19 days!

Copenhagen definitely isn't the worst place you could visit.
