Joyeux Noel! Gledelig Jul! Froehliche Weihnachten! Mele Kalikimaka! From all of us at FirstShowing.net, we want to wish every one our readers a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays! Whether you're with your family or with friends or whether it's snowing or sunny, we hope you have a wonderful week. For those that follow the tradition of seeing a movie on Christmas Day, we hope you enjoy your selection this year with a variety of interesting movies to choose from (we suggest American Hustle, Anchorman 2 or The Hobbit). News and trailers always slow down during the holidays, but we'll be back at full speed for 2014.
While there's another Hobbit movie, Wolf of Wall Street, American Hustle and Secret Life of Walter Mitty as the big players this Christmas, next year they've already scheduled some intriguing movies for the holiday week. Opening on Christmas Day in 2014 are: Disney's ensemble musical Into the Woods, Ben Stiller in the sequel Night at the Museum 3, and Angelina Jolie's movie Unbroken. In addition, Quvenzhané Wallis' musical Annie opens a week earlier, along with the long-awaited conclusion The Hobbit: There and Back Again. We hope everyone has a fun, relaxing holiday break in the meantime. Merry Christmas!
