More Footage in New UK Trailer for 'Lovelace' with Amanda Seyfried

Following last week's first trailer for the Sundance selected drama Lovelace, a trailer from across the pond has also surfaced with a bunch of new footage. Amanda Seyfried leads the film as infamous porn star Linda Lovelace, who originally rose to fame due to Deep Throat, largely considered the most well-known and successful pornographic film of all-time. But her life that seemed destined for fame and glamor came crashing down as her relationship with Chuck Traynor (Peter Sarsgaard) turned abusive and began her turn against the industry. Seyfried looks to give a great performance, but we're not sure about the film yet.

Rob Epstein & Jeffrey Friedman (Howl) direct Lovelace written by Andy Bellin. Based on Eric Danville’s biography The Complete Linda Lovelace, the film follows Linda Boreman’s  (Amanda Seyfried) rise to fame as iconic porn star Linda Lovelace of Deep Throat, the most iconic adult film ever made, and her subsequent transformation into feminist, anti-porn activist Linda Marchiano. The story is told through the perspective of three interviewers at various stages of her life. Actors James Franco, Sharon Stone, Hank Azaria, Peter Sarsgaard and more star in the film which hits theaters later this summer on August 9th. Look any good?
