Mood Indigo Trailer

Des histoires d'amour. Whoa! Underwater weddings, see-through limousines, floating cloud chair lifts, ice skating controlled by a record player. Should we expect anything else from the twisted French mastermind Michel Gondry? I think not. The first official French trailer for Mood Indigo, Gondry's latest film, has debuted today and it's a must watch. Partially because this looks like his Amelie (thanks mostly to Audrey Tautou being adorable as always) but also because it looks wacky and full of love and so much fun. Besides Tautou, this is also stars Romain Duris, Omar Sy, Gad Elmaleh and Alain Chabat. Check it out now!

Here's the first French trailer for Michel Gondry's Mood Indigo, found on YouTube (via Vulture):

Gondry's Mood Indigo, based on Boris Vian's 1947 novel "L'Ecume des jours" (or "Froth on the Daydream"), stars Audrey Tautou as Chloë, a woman who marries an inventor but falls ill during their honeymoon thanks to a water lily that enters her lung, and the only way to treat the ailment is to surround her with fresh flowers — an expense that soon drains his funds. So it's some drama about a woman with a flower growing in her lung. Should certainly be interesting, especially by the looks of it. The cast includes Omar Sy, Jamel Debbouze, Romain Duris, Gad Elmaleh, Alain Chabat and Aïssa Maïga. We're not sure of release plans, besides StudioCanal putting it out in France, titled L'écume des jours, this year. First impressions?

Strange that if one links a youtube video here, it needs admin approval-but these kinds of links?

It's a spam issue and bug within Disqus. Spammers are rampant on Disqus and we turned on the "approve all comments with links" option years ago as a way to prevent these exact comments from appearing. But somehow, even with that turned on, they get through completely out of our control. We flag and remove them ASAP but in the meantime, we are using every possible method to prevent spam, including approving any comments with links (which does stop a lot of other spam comments that you never see).

This could be the catchphrase on the poster: "See how nice everything is when everyone is on LSD?" But yeah, this looks really nice 😉
