Europa Report is a sci-fi project we've been waiting to check out for awhile, and now the full trailer is here. With quotes that tout a realistic approach to space travel and moments that incorporate the wonder of space exploration with the horrors of the unknown, this looks like it could be an awesome piece of sci-fi. Sharlto Copley stars in this film about a contemporary mission to Jupiter’s moon Europa to investigate the possible existence of alien life within our solar system. Along with his crew, they explore Jupiter's moon, but as you might expect, what they find may not be ready to be found. We can't wait to see this. Watch now!
Here's the full trailer for Sebastián Cordero's Europa Report, originally from Apple:
"For decades, scientists have theorized the existence of liquid water oceans on Jupiter's moon, Europa. We've recently discovered new, captivating evidence that these sub-surface oceans do exist and could support life. We've sent six astronauts from space programs throughout the world on a three year journey to Europa to explore its oceans and confirm these findings." The international cast includes Sharlto Copley, Michael Nyqvist, Anamaria Marinca, Christian Camargo, Daniel Wu and Karolina Wydra. Europa Report is directed by Sebastián Cordero, from a screenplay written by Philip Gelatt. Magnet Releasing has the film scheduled for release VOD June 27th and in theaters August 2nd this summer. Teaser trailer. Thoughts?

I don't really know how to feel about this. Copley is one charming motherfucker though.

he rapidly ascended into my 'will watch anything with him in it' category. he looks good in this, i like the atmosphere and it's got a good soundtrack. something still feels a little off, but it's a sale for me.

What put him into that category for you? I only recognize him from The A-Team. He played a great part in it.

Sharlto is the only reason to watch this. Looks otherwise incredibly average.

Looks very interesting. I love this 'realm' of sci-fi, the sort of thoughtful, exploration, thriller variety. Moon was quite enjoyable.

Eh. Trailer was OK, nothing great. But it seems to be venturing into Apollo 18 territory.

Strangely enough I preferred this to the Gravity trailer. The feel and the effects seemed more realistic to me. Looking forward to seeing them both.

Oh come on... I really hope there is something different about this as for now it looks just like another Red Planet or Apollo 18 type of movie. A concept done many times before...

If this is being compared to Moon then I'm out. Moon was nothing special. Mediocre would be an overstatement.

Hope this isn't just another "haunted house in space" type movie.

Seems like it's going to be a variation of 'Apollo 18,' but this time in deep space.
