After the teaser trailer arrived earlier this summer, the full theatrical trailer for DreamWorks Animation's sequel How to Train Your Dragon 2 has arrived, and it has quite the surprise revelation. Cate Blanchett is one of the new cast members on the scene, and it's been awhile since a trailer genuinely surprised me, but the introduction of her character pulled it off. Otherwise, Jay Baruchel is back as Hiccup with his trusty and adorable dragon Toothless as another threat is on the horizon. Oh, and there's a ton more dragons to be seen, complete with an impressive looking battle sequence. Will it deliver? Watch!
The full trailer for DreamWorks Animation's How to Train Your Dragon 2 from AwesomenessTV:
The thrilling second chapter of the epic How To Train Your Dragon trilogy brings back the world Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) and Toothless five years later. While Astrid (America Ferrera), Snotlout (Jonah Hill) and the rest of the gang are challenging each other to dragon races (the island's new favorite contact sport), the now inseparable pair journey through the skies, charting unmapped territories and exploring new worlds. When one of their adventures leads to the discovery of a secret ice cave that is home to hundreds of new wild dragons and the mysterious Dragon Rider, the two friends find themselves at the center of a battle to protect the peace. Fox will release DWA's How to Train Your Dragon 2 in theaters June 20th, 2014 next summer.

I was never thrilled with Jay Baruchel, but the animation is slick and man, that Toothless is a charming little dragon.

Yeah, his voice is pretty bad... But overall I really liked the first HTTYD and this looks good so far.
