Must Watch: Red Band 'Pain & Gain' Trailer is Shocking & Awesome

"We're looking for merchandise to shock, incapacitate and imprison our fellow man." Just like the overplayed Macklemore song in this red band trailer for Pain & Gain indicates: This is fucking awesome. If the trailer is any indicator, Michael Bay has crafted a hilarious, strange and action-packed movie that just might be his best yet. Mark Wahlberg, Dwayne Johnson and Anthony Mackie are all great as bumbling muscle-heads and there's Rebel Wilson as an inappropriate nurse, Ken Jeong as some wealthy speaker and Rob Corddry. There's dwarves, a severed toe and girls in thongs. Thanks a lot, Michael Bay!
Here's the red band trailer for Michael Bay's Pain & Gain, originally from Yahoo:
Pain & Gain is directed by the one-and-only Michael Bay (Bad Boys I & II, The Rock, Armageddon, The Island, Transformers) from a script co-written by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely (Chronicles of Narnia, Captain America) and Scott Rosenberg (Con Air, High Fidelity, "Life on Mars"). The original idea was based on an Miami New Times article by Pete Collins. Bay filmed Pain & Gain down in Miami, Florida earlier this year. The cast also includes Rebel Wilson, Ed Harris, Anthony Mackie, Rob Corddry, Ken Jeong, Tony Shalhoub and Kurt Angle. Paramount will be releasing Pain & Gain starting April 26th next spring.

Come on man. Don't you remember Bad Boys? This almost makes up for not having a #3 although I hear it is coming? I don't know for now this will certainly help me pass the time, although Wahlberg I don't necessarily find funny..

Looks awesomely funny, Mark Wahlberg does great with comedy, The Rock seems funny in this too. I was never skeptical I just needed to make sure that it was good enough for me to see. Even if it bombs, which I don't think it will, I'm sure it'll have me laughing hard.

I don't think it will bomb, but it will definitely have legs. Even through all the Iron Man 3 madness.

Jesus, is that Anthony Mackie with the chainsaw? I would not expect him to be the beast that he is with the appearance that he has (or the one that I'm used to, I guess). Marky Mark and The Rock for sure, but wow...

Back when I first heard that The Rock was moving to acting I laughed at the idea, but after all this time he has become one of the best actors working today. It's nice to see him take on more of a sidekick role in this.

One of the best action starts yeah... not sure if he'd be ranked as one of the best "actors" though.
