Must Watch: Richard Linklater's Glorious 'Before Midnight' Trailer

After making a stunning debut at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival a couple months ago, the release of Richard Linklater's sequel Before Midnight, the follow-up to Before Sunrise and Before Sunset, is coming in May. Now the first trailer has arrived to show fans exactly where Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy) are in their interesting relationship. As you can see, it's the dialogue that's the star here and it works so well because of these amazing performances (read my glowing review here). This will be some great counter-programming to the loud, expensive blockbusters from this summer, so don't miss it.
Here's the very first trailer for Richard Linklater's Before Midnight, originally from Yahoo:
Before Midnight is written and directed by Richard Linklater, who was also behind the preceding films Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. Jesse (Ethan Hawke) and Celine (Julie Delpy) first met on a Eurail train and experienced 14 hours of deep connection as they explored Vienna. Nine years later, Celine found Jesse at a Paris book store, the last stop on his book tour. They had one day together before he was meant to fly out that night. Now, we meet up with the two off-and-on lovers nine years later, in Greece. Sony Pictures Classics picked up the film after Sundance 2013 and it starts hitting theaters this summer on on May 24th.

Awful trailer. And yet, after having seen the first two? I am IN. I could not be more in.

Glorious? "Interesting relationship"? Ever wonder why most of everybody I know who loves this franchise are single men? Hassle free poontang? Go figger.

my favourite films have a conclusion, or is it?! (with these two characters we just don't know). Beautifully written, magical performances and films that really take you in and let you walk with them. No other films like it! Linklater the legend.
