After going under the title Two Mothers at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival, the sensual drama Adore is coming to iTunes and limited theaters early this fall. Naomi Watts and Robin Wright lead the film in the chronicle of unconventional and passionate affairs embarked upon by two lifelong friends, who fall in love with each other’s sons. Afraid of facing the ire and judgment of their insular seaside community, they continue the relationships in secret over the years. But when they're find out, it threatens to tear everyone's lives apart. This looks like quite the saucy drama, and should at least have some great performances. Watch!
Here's the first trailer for Anne Fontaine's Adore, originally from Apple:
Two Mothers is directed by Anne Fontaine (The Girl from Monaco and Coco Before Chanel) and written by Christopher Hampton (Dangerous Liaisons, Atonement, A Dangerous Method), based on Doris Lessing's novel. Naomi Watts and Robin Wright star in this sensual and provocative drama about two lifelong friends who find unexpected happiness in relationships that cross the bounds of convention. Xavier Samuel and James Frecheville also star in the film which premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival and Exclusive Releasing debuts the film simultaneously on iTunes and limited theaters on September 6th. Look good?

Imagine the reaction if this were two fathers and daughters swapping genetic material. Either way, pretty creepy crapola.

Interesting...wish Hollywood would stop rebooting movies and let writers come up with new and fresh scripts like this one. Definitely need to see this movie.

Saying "Cougars" is a little "simplistic" compared to the soul of the movie...
