"What if she's right? What if there's something else inside the station?" Image Entertainment has debuted the official US trailer for Stranded, a very low budget indie sci-fi film from Roger Christian about a space station gone awry after a meteor storm. The international cast is lead by Christian Slater, but includes Brendan Fehr, Amy Matysio and Michael Therriault. We featured an early promo trailer when this was selling in Berlin, but this is a brand new trailer and it has some cool twists in the second half with the repeating "I'm not going insane!" line. That's about all to appreciate though, as this otherwise looks terrible.
Here's the official release trailer for Roger Christian's Stranded, in high def from Apple:
Four isolated astronauts on board a bio-dome space craft, experience a ghostly intercession after a meteor storm, leading to paranoia, fear and death. The film was produced by Minds Eye Entertainment in Canada.
Stranded is directed by English filmmaker Roger Christian, of Nostradamus, Masterminds, Bandido and Battlefield Earth previously. Ah, that explains it, this is from the same guy who made Battlefield Earth! The screenplay was written by newcomer Christian Piers Betley, of only Dark Hearts plus a number of upcoming scripts. Image Entertainment will be releasing Stranded in select theaters July 26th this summer. Anyone?

It just wouldn't be low-budget without Chris Slater.

All it needs is a character played by Val Kilmer and the movie would be perfect.

Literally the best scifi film I've ever watched. The twists were incredible, I loved how when things were really going crazy the crew just abandoned each other, not once but multiple times. The effects were designed on a ZX Spectrum 128k computer and the story was a mess. That being said, Michael Therriault put in a good performance.

It appears to be a great example of when slightly altered pictures played in rapid succession can create the illusion of movement.

This looks slightly better than Alone in the dark but it won't bring back mr. Slater to the premier League.
