Briefly: Surprising release date change for a film many pundits thought might be a strong Oscar contender this year. Well, not so much anymore. Reported via THR, The Weinstein Company has delayed the release of Olivier Dahan's relationship drama Grace of Monaco (watch the first teaser trailer) from its original late November 2013 date until spring 2014 (a new date has not been set yet). Nicole Kidman stars as Grace Kelly having a crisis of marriage and identity during a political dispute between Monaco's Prince Rainier III and France's Charles De Gaulle. With this gaudy period piece out of the way, that late November slot is now perfect for The Weinstein Company to schedule Snowpiercer or The Immigrant instead. Make it so, Harvey!
