No Surprise: Film District, eOne & Sony Planning 'Insidious: Chapter 3'

Insidious: Chapter 2

Briefly: After the impressive #1 box office performance this past weekend, a record-setting September opening, for Insidious: Chapter 2, it's no surprise that Entertainment One, Film District and Sony Pictures have announced development of Insidious: Chapter 3. Jason Blum and his Blumhouse Productions banner will return in a producing capacity along with filmmaker Oren Peli, and Leigh Wannell will return to write, but since this morning brought news from director James Wan himself that he was done with horror, they will likely have to find a replacement director to take on the third film in the horror franchise.

oh great, another damn never-ending SAW anthology!

Please, please don't let them turn Insidious into SAW.

and I will like to congratulate all James Wan supporters for creating the next Saw franchise! Oh yes Insidious 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and a 3D gimmick movie! Oh yes like the first films were just so perfect to warrant a franchise. Oh and how about a Conjuring sequel a movie supposedly based on some true story turned into a Hollywood fiction! You people get what you asked for. Uwe Boll should take a crack at it, shouldn't be so hard to create cheap jump scares for the hell of it.

holy crap man its just movies and entertainment...dont take it so seriously. its really not that big of a deal where u have to be so damn negative.

As a fan of the horror genre, I loved it. It was a perfect mix of story and scare. Horror movies like Insidious and Silent House are rare, in terms of the staying old school, not crapping CGI all over it and not using a HD camera. I recommend this movie to any one who loves a good scare flick, but don't watch it when the theatre is packed. For obvious reasons. I loved the first one, I loved the second one, and I'm sure I'll love the third one. I just hope it ends at part three.

Haha hoping it ends at part three ain't going to do it for yah buddy, you get what you asked for and the studio is going to plummet more out their pile o dough. No good franchise the fans truly loves ends at three!

When they announce another installment this damn early, its an obvious sign that it'll keep going on and on and on until the time comes when you think its finally done,............then another director takes over and then goes on and on and on all over again.............So vote me down and love them all you want, but it doesnt negate the fact that this will turn out like another never-ending SAW anthology!
