'Pitch Perfect' Director Teaming with Tina Fey for 'The Nest' Comedy
by Ethan Anderton

Following the conclusion of the NBC comedy series "30 Rock" (read my heartfelt review of the finale right here), it looks like Tina Fey is getting busier on the big screen. Soon Fey will be seen alongside Paul Rudd in Admission, and now Deadline reports she's attached to star in and produce The Nest, a new comedy from Pitch Perfect director Jason Moore and "Saturday Night Live" veteran writer Paula Pell. The film follows two thirtysomething sisters come home to find their parents’ house has been put up for sale, so they decide to spend one more wild weekend together there, bonding, feuding and finally growing up. Read on!
Having Pell writing her first feature script with Fey starring, and Moore directing sounds pretty damn promising to me. After all, Pitch Perfect came from "30 Rock" writer and producer Kay Cannon, and look how that turned out. Plus, if there was ever a better opportunity for Fey to work with Amy Poehler again, this would be it, especially after they knocked the Golden Globes hosting gig out of the park last month. Of course, it would be interesting to see Fey paired up with another "Saturday Night Live" veteran like Casey Wilson or, perhaps more obviously, Kristen Wiig. Hopefully we'll hear more soon. Sound good?
