Rhys Wakefield and Ashley Hinshaw See Double in Trippy '+1' Trailer
"How many chances do you get?" We've seen wild party nights recently in the form of Project X, 21 & Over and The Hangover Part III, but sometime tells me that we've never seen a party like this. +1 starts off as what seems like another college party movie, but then turns into something potentially extraordinary. David (Rhys Wakefield from The Purge) and Teddy (Logan Miller of "I'm with the Band") get into this epic party, and while one messes things up with his girlfriend (Ashley Hinshaw of About Cherry and Chronicle) the other has the best night of his life. But then the party goers notice something strange at the party as they see versions of themselves from the past reliving the same night from hours before. What?!
Here's the first trailer for Dennis Iliadis' +1, originally from Moviefone:
+1 is directed by Dennis Iliadis (The Last House on the Left) who co-wrote the screenplay with Bill Gullo. College friends hit the biggest party of the year, where a mysterious phenomenon disrupts the night, quickly descending into a night of chaos that challenges their friendships, sanity and whether or not they survive.
Rhys Wakefield (The Purge), Logan Miller ("I'm with the Band") and Ashley Hinshaw (Chronicle, About Cherry) star in the film from the 2013 SXSW Film Festival and IFC Films releases it on September 20th.
This looks like a really cool & unique idea, it in now on my list

Had the opportunity to see a test screening of a workprint of this film a few months back. Had the usual Q&A with Iliadis and the producer Tim Perell. Pretty cool concept, and the film actually explores more philosophical aspects of it than you might anticipate for a college party film. That said, it didn't exactly fire on all cylinders, and I was left wanting more. Maybe it's changed since then. I would still go see it again and recommend checking it out simply because it's a fresh and original concept.
