Later this year, the story of one of the most iconic newscasters in history moves forward with Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues, the anticipated comedy sequel. Will Ferrell returns as Ron Burgundy with Steve Carell, David Koechner and Paul Rudd as his his trusty news team, but before the film arrives, the anchorman will have a memoir on the shelves. According to The New York Times, the forthcoming book is called Let Me Off at the Top! My Classy Life and Other Musings and will "offer a rare glimpse behind the camera into the real life of a man many consider to be our greatest living news anchor.” Read on!
In addition, the book from Crown Archetype will also let Burgundy "share personal anecdotes about the women in his life, about his dog, Baxter, and his legendary news team.” And because Burgundy is a man who discovered the wheel, built the Eiffel Tower out of metal and brawn, he'll also give out some advice on a variety of topics. Though he's usually not one for humility, Burgundy says, "I don’t know if it’s the greatest autobiography ever written. I’m too close to the work.” The book will hit shelves November 19th, just under one month before Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues heads to theaters on December 20th.

I wonder if the book will look like a 1970's style paperback. Remember Ron Burgundy is from the '70's so it needs that type of style. It looks like it will be a funny movie though. Steve Carrel is one of the best things about Anchorman I hope they give him a lot of screen time. It'll look forward to it.
