Schwarzenegger & Stallone Are Screening 'Escape Plan' at Comic-Con

July 9, 2013

Escape Plan

If the first trailer for the prison escape thriller Escape Plan, starring Arnold Schwarzenegger and Sylvester Stallone, tickled your fancy and you're going to Comic-Con next week, then we have some good news for you. Summit Entertainment has just announced that the two action stars will be hosting a screening of the film three months before the October 18th theatrical release. Fans will be able to get tickets through upcoming online giveaways, from the Summit booth in the convention center, and also outside of the screening at the Reading Cinemas Gaslamp 15 on the evening of Thursday, July 18. More below!

The fan line for people to catch a glimpse of Stallone and Schwarzenegger on the red carpet opens at 5pm and will also have tickets to the screening being given away. Escape Plan is directed by Mikael Håfström (1408, Shanghai) & written by Miles Chapman. Ray Breslin (Stallone), the world's foremost authority on structural security, agrees to take on one last job: breaking out of an ultra-secret, high-tech facility called 'The Tomb.' But when he is wrongly imprisoned, he must recruit fellow inmate Emil Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to help devise a daring, nearly impossible plan to escape from the most protected and fortified prison ever built. We'll do our best to catch the screening and let you know what we think!
