Wesley Snipes

Now that the actor is fresh out of prison, Wesley Snipes is officially on board for The Expendables 3 as producer Sylvester Stallone has confirmed to AICN what was originally revealed in a now-deleted Twitter update saying, "Wesley Snipes joined the crew tonight and that makes me damn happy. Hope Snipes brings his A-Game." That makes one of the names that producer Avi Lerner mentioned last fall a lock. Now we just have to wait and see if Nicolas Cage and Harrison Ford end up coming on board. But what about last week's question about whether or not people would be interested in seeing Mel Gibson direct the action sequel?

Well, it sounds like Stallone is trying, but he knows it's not likely that he will get him involved. Stallone, seemingly responding to fans who likely blindly disliked the potential of Gibson's involvement due to his controversial tabloid-making behavior. Stallone said, "Mel is a MAGNIFICENT director! Pure passion on every level . we’d be blessed to have him. A REAL long shot, but LIFE is a long shot -right?” Either way, we're already excited for the Demolition Man reunion that will happen in The Expendables 3, and it would be great if Snipes turned out to be the villain again this time as well. Thoughts?

I used to think Wesley Snipes was the coolest, most bad-ass actor ever when I was a kid. I still do.

The first one sucked, the second one was worse, why are they making a third one?

2nd was disappointing. Let's get the young stallions in the next one as the villains: Michael Jae White, the Rock, Will Smith, Vin Diesel, Tony Jaa....

He's a good actor and superlative screen personality and I hope he files his tax returns, thus eliminating future complications.
