Sundance Selected 'The Raid 2: Berandal' Hits US Screens March 2014

Briefly: We already know the action sequel The Raid 2: Berandal (which may drop that subtitle here in the United States) will premiere at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. Luckily for audiences in the United States, they won't have to wait too much longer to see the film from writer and director Gareth Evans on the big screen. Sony Pictures Classics and Stage 6 Films have announced that they will release the sequel in the US on March 28th. We've already seen one teaser trailer, and for those just joining us, it picks up right where the first film left off and follows Rama (Iko Uwais) as he goes undercover and infiltrates the ranks of a ruthless Jakarta crime syndicate to protect his family and uncover the corruption in his own police force.

Wicked, can't wait! Loved The Raid and Gareth Evans' segment in VHS 2. The Raid 2 is definitely one of my most anticipated movies of next year for sure.
