The first official trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is arriving on December 5th this week, so webheads should be very excited to get their first real look at the comic book reboot sequel. We're guessing it will be pretty much exactly the same as the footage we saw at Comic-Con, just with finished special effects, and now there are three extremely brief teases for the trailer, each featuring a different shot of Andrew Garfield as Spidey. One is a very simple shot showing off the new bug-eyed suit, while the other two have some very pretty and cool shots of our hero swinging through the city. But there's something else intriguing.
Here's the short international teasers for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 via Comic Book Movie:
The Spanish title on these teasers calls the film The Amazing Spider-Man 2: The Rise of Electro. That's much better than the rumored titles we heard about in October. However, it's important to point out that sequels often get slightly different subtitles in international territories either because the wording doesn't make sense when translated or other assorted marketing reasons. So for now, we're not sure if this is just a special international title, or if this will be the official sequel title revealed when the trailer arrives this week. Either way, we can't wait for the trailer, and hopefully see a better version of this triptych poster.
The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is directed by Marc Webb and written by Jeff Pinker, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) finds, life is busy between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away, but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past. Sony will release Amazing Spider-Man 2 in theaters next summer on May 2nd, 2014. Excited?

In Mexico The Wolverine was Called "Wolverine: Inmortal" (Immortal) and the Dark Knight Rises was called "Batman: el caballero de la noche asciende" (Batman: The knight of the night rises) so it's safe to say that the title shown might not be the title for the US

Is it just me or does that look more fake than Spider-Man 2?

I saw the leaked footage months ago and I was very pleased with what I saw, and with Hanz Zimmer's score it was even cooler

Actually "La amenaza de Electro" is spanish for "Electro's Menace". "The Rise of Electro" would be "Electro Asciende", something that the local distribuitors must be re-thinking because of the similar tone with The Dark Knight Rises... I guess everyone rises nowadays.

They should have just called it "The Amazing Spider-Man: Enter Electro" like the awesome video game. I'm looking forward to this film, but the more I see, the more I get worried, especially with that Green Goblin fiasco (Harry again? Really?).
