"No!" Like with the first Ender's Game tease before this, yet another highly anticipated sci-fi first footage tease that we can't resist posting. Entertainment Tonight (the worst!) is set to debut the first teaser trailer for Alfonso Cuarón's Gravity on Thursday later this week (now available for viewing here) and to tease the reveal, they've launched a 15-second promo video. It features barely 10 seconds of actual Gravity footage, with a few shots of Sandra Bullock and George Clooney. Considering we've been waiting many years for this very moment, for the official first footage, it's worth sharing and taking a quick look at below.
Here's the very first glimpse at Alfonso Cuarón's Gravity footage, found by The Film Stage via ET Online:
Dr. Stone (Bullock) is a brilliant medical engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalsky (Clooney). But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalsky completely alone—tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they've lost any link to Earth… and any chance for rescue.
Gravity is directed by visionary Mexican filmmaker Alfonso Cuarón, of Great Expectations, Y Tu Mamá También, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban and Children of Men previously. The screenplay was written by Alfonso Cuarón and his son Jonás Cuarón. Warner Bros delayed Gravity from its initial release in 2012 and now his it scheduled to hit theaters on October 4th later this year. Watch the first teaser trailer.

Would have been better to not have shown that...ET sucks. I'm still very interested in this project though.

Before I watched the clip, I thought ET was going to be in the film, ET actually looks a bit like a ballsack. With the description of the film, it sounds prtty much like they'll die, unless they get saved by badgers.

Right with you there, Matt. I'm a little skeeved that I'll actually be going to see a Sandra Bullock movie this year. Well, a Cuarón film with her in it.

I thought Children of Men was amazing. Prisoner of Azkaban was the most artful of all the Harry Potter films, and Y Tu Mama? Brilliant. I can't wait. Love the Cuaron.

Maybe I blinked or something but I didn't see anything. Does 10 seconds really go by that fast? In all seriousness I'm stoked for this but that did nothing for me.
