Walking with Dinosaurs 3D

At the beginning of the month, an international trailer for the animated Walking with Dinosaurs 3D debuted, previewing the chronicles of two young dinosaurs as they grow up, hoping to follow in their father's footsteps, and become respected creatures of the prehistoric wild. While that first look made the film seem like a nature documentary with a narrative (and no talking animals), this one takes a more family friendly approach with some cheesy voiceover and some mainstream music to get the kids interested, but the grounded story and visuals could make this worth a trip to the theater for the whole family. Watch now!

The US trailer for Barry Cook & Neil Nightingale's Walking with Dinosaurs 3D, originally from Apple:

Walking with Dinosaurs 3D is directed by Barry Cook (Arthur Christmas) and Neil Nightingale (Enchanted Kingdom 3D) and written by John Collee (Happy Feet) and Theodore Thomas (Walt & El Grupo). In the film, two brothers looking to follow in their father's footsteps leads to a showdown with dinosaurs in the Arctic North. For the first time in movie history, audiences will truly see and feel what it was like when dinosaurs ruled the Earth. 20th Century Fox sends the film to theaters everywhere on December 20th.

I was excited until the VoiceOver in this trailer maybe it's just me but I hope and want there to be no narrator I want the dinosaurs to speak for themselves (not talking) just being animals in nature. This has potential to be Great and regardless I'm still going to see it I just hope it's not more of the same we've seen already.

Triceratops is a lie.

Dinosaurs are a lie, lol. Everything about them is all guess work we don't actually know what they really looked like and it's already documented that archeologists tried manipulating bone structure just to cash in on fame and first find.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz..... Go and read a bible and believe that if you prefer.

Good point we all have free will to believe in what we want but poor execution in dragging religion into it. *yawn*

There is a huge difference between speculation and lies. Truth is in the eye of the beholder. I don't believe most archeologists have an agenda of fame and will sacrifice their careers for it. You speak about lies, well religious people claim to 'know the truth'. That is the reason why I sarcastically involved religion in this topic. You prefer their version or speculation? I'll surely walk with dinosaurs.

There is a bit of truth in everything so I wouldn't blindly rule out religion all together. I'm not saying dinosaurs never existed but we don't really know what they looked like what their mannerisms were or the pigment of their skin. Everything is plainly observation that can be exaggerated and that's what dinosaurs and religion share.

Reminds me of Disney's DINOSAUR minus the distracting voice acting. Might not run out to see this right away but we'll see how the reviews and viewer reaction is when it releases.

Walking with dinosaurs 3d may have good looking dinosaurs, but it is NOT Walking with dinosaurs. A new walking with dinosaurs would be filmed in nature documentary style, with at least some of the same dinosaurs from the original show with an up to date design that still retained elements of the old design such as colour and SFX etc. This isn't walking with dinosaurs, in my eyes it's just a DR spinoff with the Walking with Dinosaurs name slapped on it for attention. Tim Haines doesn't even have any input on it! Neither does Jasper James!
