Watch: 2013 Movie Trailer Mash-Up Begins This Year's Retrospective

December 3, 2013
After kicking off a retrospective look at the year of 2012 on the big screen, The Sleepy Skunk is back with The 2013 Movie Trailer Mash-Up, a chronicle of this past year in film. Masterfully edited with some bad ass music, all of the movies seamlessly blend into the other in action, style and more. And while the first half is fast-paced, complete with shots of Iron Man 3, Pacific Rim, The Great Gatsby and more, the second half slows things down with mesmerizing shots from Man of Steel and characters from The Book Thief, Blue is the Warmest Color, The Spectacular Now and others. It's a great look back at 2013.
Here's The 2013 Movie Trailer Mash-Up sent our way by The Sleepy Skunk:
For a complete list of music (which includes that kick ass track "Save the World" (Knife Party Remix) by the Swedish House Mafia, you can check out the video's YouTube page. The Sleepy Skunk also says he will update the page with a list of all the clips sometime soon if there's any film that you don't recognize in this incredible montage (there are some that I was even perplexed by). This is just the beginning of our retrospective look at the year in film that was 2013, and we'll be posting plenty more awesome compilation videos like this, not to mention our yearly best and worst films of the year and more. Pretty cool, right?
Pretty wild imagery over the last year

I love these videos. I'm a very nostalgic guy, so it's always fun to have a commemorative, celebratory look back on all of the films that have come out in the past year....regardless of how good or bad they were in the eyes of the public or critics.

Looks like I skipped a lot of this year's CGI-fests.. Love that dubstep track. Cool montage!
