A Good Day to Die Hard

"You're gonna shoot your own father?" We've known for awhile that John McClane (Bruce Willis) was going to team up with his son Jack (Jai Courtney) in A Good Day to Die Hard, but some specific plot details have been under the radar. But now a new featurette, full of new footage, gives us a better idea of what Jack is doing in Russia, and how McClane gets caught up in it all. There's also some great behind the scenes footage of the sets, some practical action sequences and stunts and more. Honestly, I still think this looks like fun, but my one worry is the running time which is only 97 minutes, making it the shortest of the franchise. Hopefully that just means it's a polished action film, and not just nonsense. Watch the featurette!

Here's the latest featurette for John Moore's A Good Day to Die Hard, originally from Yahoo UK:

A Good Day to Die Hard is the fifth installment in the long running Die Hard franchise following Bruce Willis as Detective John McClane. John Moore (Max Payne, Behind Enemy Lines) directs the sequel written by Skip Woods (The A-Team, X-Men Origins: Wolverine). This time McClane finds himself in Russia where nothing is as it seems and he must team up with his estranged son (Jai Courtney) in order to stay alive in Moscow and keep the world safe for democracy. Cole Hauser, Sebastian Koch, Yulia Snigir and more star in the film which will hit theaters for an explosive Valentine's Day on February 14th. Planning to see this?

according to the MPAA - This movie is Rated R for language & violence Die Hard with a Vengeance was rated R for strong violence & pervasive language sorry folks, this is not gonna be the Die Hard we grew up with. I'm guessing they shot it going for a PG-13 and just accepted the R

this one has flimsy running time of 97min where the others had a 2 hour plus running time. If you take out the credits we're probably looking at a pathetic 89min!!

even though it seems a bit short still looking forward to it. in regard to john moore hes not as bad as len wiseman. when i first found out he would be directing live free die hard i though for sure that the movie would fail with a capital f but look at how good that turned out not the best in the franchise but still good. and also i heard bruce willis picked john moore himself. so roll on febuary 14th
