"You have both turned a nine-year marriage into 100-year war." After the first poster arrived for the praised Sundance comedy A.C.O.D. (Adult Children of Divorce) starring Adam Scott, the first trailer is now online, chock full of laughter. Scott plays Carter, a seemingly well-adjusted Adult Child of Divorce who is forced to encounter the craziness of his mother (Catherine O'Hara) and father's (Richard Jenkins) divorce all over again when his younger brother (Clark Duke) decides to get married. The ensemble cast also includes Jane Lynch and Amy Poehler for more great comedy, and you won't want to miss this one.
Here's the first trailer for Stu Zicherman's A.C.O.D., originally from Yahoo:
A.C.O.D. marks the directorial debut of Stu Zicherman (writer of "Six Degrees" and "Lights Out") who also wrote the script with Ben Karlin ("The Daily Show" and "Modern Family"). Having survived the madness of his parents' (Richard Jenkins and Catherine O'Hara) divorce, Carter (Adam Scott) now has a successful career and supportive girlfriend (Mary Elizabeth Winstead). But when his younger brother (Clark Duke) gets engaged, Carter is forced to reunite his bitterly divorced parents for the wedding, causing the chaos of his childhood to return with a vengeance. Film Arcade releases the film this fall on October 4th. Funny?

We're not fans of the Yahoo player either, but other formats aren't available immediately. We just switched to YouTube, so give that a shot. The film deserves your attention!

Adam Scott deserves to get these roles, he is far better and funnier than his peers. But when will they stop with those flip indie pop soundtrack songs?
