Watch All Five of the 2013 Best Animated Short Film Nominees in Full

Five nominees. Five animated shorts. Who will win the Oscar in a few weeks? Now you get to decide. Thanks to a tip from our friends at Bleeding Cool via The Film Stage, we've collected the complete set of all five 2013 Oscar nominated animated short films for your viewing pleasure. Around this time of year, with the Academy Award nominations getting lots of attention, the short film noms usually end up getting shown in theaters (live-action or doc) or screened online (animated), which is the case again this year. Now they're available to view, in full, online and I can certainly say—without a doubt—all five shorts are worth watching.
One of the nominated short films is Disney's Paperman, which played in front of Wreck-It Ralph and was already featured on FS.net last week. But there are still four other excellent shorts to see, embedded below.
Up first - here's the animated short Adam and Dog, directed by Minkyu Lee:
Next - here's Fresh Guacamole, directed by "PES", a sort-of sequel to Western Spaghetti:
Next - here's the stop-motion animated film Head Over Heels, directed by Timothy Reckart:
Next - here's Maggie Simpson in "The Longest Daycare", directed by David Silverman:
Finally here's Disney's Paperman directed by John Kahrs, one of our favorites (via THR):
We're doing our best to keep the videos updated with working high res versions, please enjoy these shorts.
Truthfully, all of these are really, really good. I mean, incredibly good, obviously it makes sense why they were all nominated. As much as I really love Paperman (and I do love it, especially the score by Christophe Beck), it was Adam and Dog that just took me away, such a gorgeous story of best friends. I also really enjoyed Head Over Heels, very charming yet fun like Up but with claymation, and Fresh Guacamole was incredibly entertaining. The Maggie Simpson short is very well-made and is a Simpsons lovers perfect short. All of these are wonderful and I'm so happy we can feature them so easily for full viewing on the site. Enjoy! We'll be watching very closely on February 24th to see which of these five actually takes home the Oscar.

So hard to decided; I liked all of them! Especially the stop-motion ones. They all felt original. Maybe except 'Head Over Heels', which kinda felt like a mash-up between 'UP' and the upcoming movie 'Upside Down', and of course 'Maggie Simpson' But I totally agree with you; I loved 'Paperman' but I think 'Adam and Dog' had a better score and story.

Well, in my opinion Paperman is the best. Of course the rest is also amazing except... Maggie Simpson. Flat story and weird animation just dissapointed me (and I consider myself as a big The Simpsons fan).

Paperman is great until the paper becomes alive. Totally ruins it. All the others are awesome.
