Watch: Amusing New 'Monsters University' Campus Promo Video

"Imagine You at MU!" Speaking of Pixar, aside from all that concept art, the animation studio has also released a brand new campus promo video for Monsters University, the actual college in the movie, not just the movie itself. If you've been following, there was a viral launched a few months back showcasing a full-fledged university website for the fictional in-universe Monsters University, where Mike Wazowski first meets James P. "Sulley" in the prequel. Thanks to a tip from Upcoming Pixar, a short 30-sec video debuted on a viral YouTube showcasing the school. It's a bit cheesy, but fun. Notice the School of Door Technology?

A look at the relationship between monsters Mike (voiced by Billy Crystal) and Sulley (voiced by John Goodman) during their days at the University of Fear -- when they weren't necessarily the best of friends.
Pixar's Monsters University is being directed by Dan Scanlon, who went from animator to storyboard artist to writer to co-director on Mater and the Ghostlight, making his feature directorial debut. This is a prequel to Pixar's animated movie Monsters Inc, originally released in November of 2001. Disney has Monsters University scheduled for release in Digital 3D everywhere June 21st, 2013 this summer. Visit: MU.com.

I saw this promo a couple of days ago during a bowl game telecast. Or was it SportsCenter? One of the two, I'm sure.

I saw it during the Rose Bowl and I was suckered into thinking it was Wisconsin's promo. I wasn't paying close attention to detail until the monster popped up and started talking. Pretty cool way of debuting it on TV, if you ask me.
