The Amazing Spider-Man 2

Two years ago, Andrew Garfield appeared at Comic-Con when The Amazing Spider-Man was still in production. The actor infamously crashed the panel dressed as Spider-Man, complete with a heartfelt speech about what the role meant to him as an actor and a fan of the webslinger. Well, now the actor returned to Comic-Con for The Amazing Spider-Man 2, but this time, he showed up late, and not as you might expect. Garfield was back as Spider-Man, but the actor gave no indication he was playing a fictional hero as he appeared in the sequel's actual costume and played around on the panel in character. Watch it!

Here's Andrew Garfield Spider-Man on The Amazing Spider-Man 2 panel from Clevver Movies:

The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is directed by Marc Webb and written by Jeff Pinker, Roberto Orci and Alex Kurtzman. Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield) finds, life is busy between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can't come quickly enough. Peter hasn't forgotten the promise he made to Gwen's father to protect her by staying away, but that's a promise he just can't keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past. Sony will release Amazing Spider-Man 2 in theaters next summer on May 2nd, 2014. Excited?

That must have been fun, but exhausting.

Andrew Garfield sounds like he's on drugs or something.

Unless there's a lot more we didn't see this segment fell flat. It appears the audience doesn't even know that Garfield is the one behind the mask. If this video is truly indicative of what happened, it was poorly planned and executed.
