WORTH WATCHING
Watch: 'Auteurs of Christmas' with Wes Anderson, Woody Allen & More
by Ethan Anderton
December 24, 2013
It's Christmas Eve, and tonight and tomorrow morning, millions will be celebrating the holiday by spending time with their family. Not everyone celebrates the same way though, and each family has their own traditions, making for an experience just as unique as watching different movies from your favorite filmmakers. Well, the people at Fourgrounds Media Inc. (via Mashable) decided to imagine what Christmas morning would be like in the hands of some of your favorite (and recognizable) filmmakers. From Steven Spielberg to Lars Von Trier and Michael Moore, it's Christmas from their unique filmmaking lens.
Here's The Auteurs of Christmas from Fourgrounds Media Inc. (via Mashable):
The video is a little on the nose, and it would have been improved by a little more production value, but it's a charming and fun piece for Christmastime. We still appreciate the references to 2001: A Space Odyssey from Stanley Kubrick, GoodFellas from Martin Scorsese and every single film by Wes Anderson. Anyway, we hope you'll spend some time during your holiday break enjoying some great films with your friends and family. There's plenty to see in theaters (The Wolf of Wall Street and The Secret Life of Walter Mitty arrive on Christmas Day), and there's plenty releases from the past month still kicking on the big screen. Enjoy!
