Watch: Bryan Cranston as Lex Luthor in 'Man of Steel 2' Fan Teaser

Production isn't even slated to begin on Man of Steel 2 until 2014, with release schedule for July 17th, 2015, but with Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck cast as Batman and Superman, fans are hungry to find out who will be playing presumed villain Lex Luthor. Names like Bryan Cranston and Mark Strong have surfaced as candidates (we have a list of our own suggestions here), and one fan has taken it upon himself to quickly assemble a teaser trailer for Zack Snyder's sequel with the "Breaking Bad" star in the iconic villain role (the story going around that he's actually cast is from an unsubstantiated source), not to mention strategic shots of Affleck as Bruce Wayne. It's a pretty damn enticing video, and gets us very excited. Watch!

Man of Steel 2, which may be titled Batman vs. Superman, is directed by Zack Snyder and written by David S. Goyer, from a story he co-created with Zack Snyder. Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan and Wesley Coller serving as executive producers. Henry Cavill returns as Superman along with Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White and Diane Lane as Ma Kent, while Ben Affleck is taking on the role of a new Batman, which the actor has crafted with Snyder. Production begins early in 2014 for a summer release on July 15th, 2015. Stay tuned for updates.

Umm it's already been confirmed that Bryan Cranston will be playing Lex Luthor. WB isn't making the official announcement until Breaking Bad reaches the end of it's series.

Tell that to Ethan Anderton he should be more professional than that since he's helping in running a website with his contributions. That was a very childish response and all he had to say was those are just false rumors but I'll make a post that confirms that rumor as being true. Now I have less respect you can't treat your readers like that.

So I felt the need to point out, with a bit of sarcasm, that plenty of professionals are skeptical of this news and know the source is not trusted. I'm not here to disrespect contributors of this website my argument was directly to Anon not you Ethan Anderton and you decided to step right in which you didn't have to because maybe I didn't see that part of the article which is something that you should have taken into account since you clearly wrote it and you could have quickly corrected me on that but you decided to join the bandwagon with Anon coming off condescending. I don't know if the premise of Wayne Enterprise and Mr. Luthers co was in the comics or not, (I don't read them) but that's pretty awesome. Kudos to whoever made this vid. Cranston as Lex....I'm so there...here's to hoping!

Isn't it released on July 17th, 2015? The end of the article says the 15th. Also GREAT teaser for something that was fan-made. Cranston would kill it as Lex Luthor.
