Machete Kills Space

Don't worry, this isn't a guarantee of another sequel in the Machete franchise if that's not your deal. But for those who have come to enjoy the outlandish grindhouse inspired action comedy series, this is a bit of fun. For anyone who already saw Machete Kills in theaters, this is old news. But as has become custom with these films, there was a faux trailer for a sequel called Machete Kills Again…in Space! that played before the sequel starring Danny Trejo and directed by Robert Rodriguez. It's just as ridiculous as you'd expect, but since the silly sequel only pulled in $14 million at the worldwide box office so far, I don't think it'll become a reality like the other two films. Still, this is a bit of goofy action fun to enjoy. Watch it now!

Here's the trailer for Machete Kills Again…in Space! from Reddit (via The Playlist):

In the sequel Machete Kills, the seemingly invincible badass Mexican (Danny Trejo) is recruited by the U.S. government to help track down an arms dealer in Mexico who's looking to launch a weapon into space. The film from director Robert Rodriguez (Sin City, Spy Kids, The Faculty, Desperado) and writer Kyle Ward also features Amber Heard, Mel Gibson, Jessica Alba, Michelle Rodriguez, William Sadler, Charlie Sheen, Demián Bichir and more. Open Road Films released the sequel in theaters on September 13th this fall.

lol love the they make fun of the fact that "cigarette use" is treated so "seriously" by the MPAA.

DavideCoppola on Nov 19, 2013

its even crazier in bollywood.....everytime a character smokes a cig you get a disclaimer on screen!

I don;t like these movies, not because the majority of Hispanics I know, including myself, found it stupid and offensive, but because they're just dumb movies. Not condemning anyone who likes them or anything, everyone has their preferences, I just don't find the Machete movies enjoyable. Although I admit this trailer, no matter how dumb or over the top it is, made me laugh a little, specially with the (*actor subject to change)

Why would this be offensive?

Loved this, but it should stay in this form, no need for a feature.

Love these movies, I hope this actually gets made.

Awesome, esp the Justin Bieber part - and the disclaimer 🙂

These movies are great. Not like literally great... but great in a horrible way that it hurts to watch but you can't take your eyes off the screen because of how silly it is. I hope they make this. Long live Machete
