Watch: Film Showcase 2014 Previews the Big Films Coming Next Year

With just four days left in 2013, as we look back at the year in film with various retrospective pieces, it's almost time to start getting excited about what next year has to offer. Getting a jump start on the hype machine, Reddit user Hayden Vartiainen decided to throw together Film Showcase 2014 (not unlike some of the retrospective videos we post every year), looking forward to some of the films coming in 2014. It's mostly a sea of blockbusters like The Amazing Spider-Man 2, Edge of Tomorrow and Godzilla because indie trailers usually don't start their promotion this far out. Still, we can help but get a little giddy.
Here's the Film Showcase 2014 from Reddit user Hayden Vartiainen (via The Playlist):
Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (which just recently unveiled its teaser trailer), 22 Jump Street (with their red band and green band trailers) and Captain America: The Winter Soldier are some of the more prominent summer releases. Otherwise, earlier in the year we have 300: Rise of an Empire and Non-Stop starring Liam Neeson. Though we're not necessarily excited for earlier releases like The Legend of Hercules and Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones, it would have been nice if this video was a little more inclusive regarding the other 2014 releases. But they'll get their due diligence at the end of the year anyway.

2015 seems like it'll be better with the big three Batman vs. Superman, Star Wars 7, and Avengers: Age of Ultron.
