"Great people of Oz, your wizard is here!" With the release of Sam Raimi's fantasy adventure prequel Oz: The Great and Powerful just about a week away, Disney is making their final efforts to get audiences on board with the return to Emerald City. One final, quick trailer has just surfaced with some cool new footage, especially of the Wicked Witch of the West (maybe the most clear shot we could get while still keeping her identity a mystery), and it's pretty cool. The buzz on this film from those who have seen it has been pretty good, and while it probably won't shake a stick at The Wizard of Oz, hopefully it'll be entertaining. Watch!
Here's the final trailer for Sam Raimi's Oz: The Great & Powerful originally from Apple:
When small-time magician Oscar Diggs (Franco) pulls one flimflam too many, he finds himself hurled into the fantastical Land of Oz where he must somehow transform himself into the great and powerful Wizard—and just maybe into a better man as well. Also features the three witches Theodora (Mila Kunis), Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Glinda (Michelle Williams). Disney's fantastical adventure Oz The Great and Powerful, directed by Sam Raimi (Evil Dead, Dark Man, Spider-Man, Drag Me to Hell), imagines the origins of L. Frank Baum's beloved character, the Wizard of Oz. From a screenplay by Mitchell Kapner and David Lindsay-Abaire. Disney will be taking us back to Oz on March 8th in just over a month. Thoughts?

Hoping that this is one of those surprisingly good Disney movies nobody had on their list, just like JC of Mars was...

It was a very average movie with tired storytelling which didn't connect with most audiences.

I wish that the final trailer was the regular length of a full trailer, like at least 2 minutes and 30-45 seconds 🙁 .
