Watch: Harrison Ford Versus Gary Oldman in First 'Paranoia' Trailer
Sure audiences are excited to see some big face-offs this summer, including Superman vs General Zod in Man of Steel, but one of the more provoking match-ups this fall is Gary Oldman versus Harrison Ford in the new financial thriller Paranoia. Coming from 21 director Robert Luketic, the film follows Liam Hemsworth as Adam Cassidy, an entry-level employee at The Wyatt Corporation. When he becomes enlisted as a company spy, pinned against a rival mogul (Ford), he becomes a pawn in a big corporate game. Adam must find a way out from under his boss (Oldman), who will stop at nothing to win a multi-billion dollar advantage. Now the first trailer is here, and we're pretty interested to see how it turns out. Watch!
Here's the first trailer for Robert Luketic's Paranoia, originally from Yahoo:
Robert Luketic (21, Killers) directs Paranoia from a script by Jason Dean Hall and Barry Levy, based on Joseph Finder's novel. Adam Cassidy (Liam Hemsworth) is a normal guy trying to get ahead in his entry-level job at Wyatt Corporation. But after one costly mistake, Adam’s ruthless CEO, Nicholas Wyatt (Gary Oldman), forces him to spy on corporate rival, Jock Goddard (Harrison Ford), Wyatt’s old mentor. However, Cassidy is just a pawn in Wyatt’s game and realizes he must find a way out from under his boss who will stop at nothing to win a multi-billion dollar advantage. The film hits theaters August 16th, 2013.
Looks good, great actors. Weird to see Harrison with no hair though.

Loved Ford and Oldman in Air Force One so this works for me.

I could see this; at first i thought this would be another boring business rival movie, but it actually peaked my interest/

telltale sign of a poor movie: trailer that reveals entire plot.
Zak Coleman on Jun 5, 2013
Saying the same thing. I even felt during the trailer like saying "Looks good. Hope the trailer stops right about here....oh well"

It's a good movie but the trailer is horrible. Comparing this to the movie all I have to ask is can they get their money back from whoever they paid to do it?
Norbert Korzus on Jun 6, 2013
Disagree. Sign of a poor trailer. Plot seems kind of tired though - as in, haven't we already seen this movie? Regardless, as so much of the movie was in the trailer, definitely not going to waste my money to see the filler.

Surefire way to ensure I don't see your movie? Show me the entire thing for free in the trailer.

Interesting concept and would be interested in seeing this, but the trailer gave a bit too much away.

Meh.. this looks like a dull version of Lucky Number Slevin.. Actually, this looks like a long advertisement for the new Corvette..

Ooh! Looks shouty!

Awesome. The title sounds like a horror flick though.
VoiceOfReason on Jun 6, 2013
awful. No reason to see it either when everything is given away in the trailer.

Woah!! Was that Josh Holloway as the FBI agent? Im glad he doing more stuff. He is a great actor. I love lost. LOL

I agree with you guys here. Trailers that show this much of the plot are terrible, do a disservice to the (potential) audience and don't speak well for the film, IMO. I wish we could go back to the days of trailer teasers that were created by the filmmakers and not the PR and marketing departments. They were an art form unto themselves.
