Ride Along

Following the team-up of Melissa McCarthy and Sandra Bullock in The Heat, early next year we get Ice Cube and Kevin Hart taking the law into their hands in Ride Along. The film follows a guy (Hart) trying to win over his girlfriend's brother (Cube) so he can ask her to marry him, and part of that includes a faux trip in the police car to scare the hell out of him. But of course, something goes wrong, and they get caught up in real dangerous criminal action. This time we get a brief glimpse of John Leguizamo and Bryan Callen in the film, in between bits of Hart screaming like a maniac and talking like a man-weasel. Watch?

Here's the second trailer for Tim Story's Ride Along, originally from Yahoo:

When a fast-talking guy (Kevin Hart) joins his girlfriend’s brother (Ice Cube), a hot-tempered cop, to patrol the streets of Atlanta, he gets entangled in the officer’s latest case. Now, in order to prove that he deserves his future bride, he must survive the most insane 24 hours of his life on a ride along designed to scare the hell out of him. But when the wild night leads them to the most notorious criminal in the city, all bets are off. John Leguizamo also stars in Ride Along, directed by Tim Story (Think Like a Man, Fantastic Four) and written by Greg Coolidge (Employee of the Month). The film hits theaters early next year on January 17th.
