Sabotage Trailer #2

"They're watching us…" Open Road debut a second trailer (see the first one) for David Ayer's Sabotage, formerly known as Ten or Breacher, an action thrilled about an elite DEA task force that becomes targets after they take down a deadly drug cartel. The ensemble cast features Arnold Schwarzenegger as the lead, as well as Joe Manganiello, Josh Holloway, Max Martini, Sam Worthington, Mireille Enos, Terrence Howard, Olivia Williams and Harold Perrineau. This trailer shows quite a damn bit of the story, but they're really trying to sell it. It's packed full of guns, action, drugs, money and lots of crazy shit. Check it out below.

Here's the second theatrical trailer for David Ayer's Sabotage, originally from Yahoo:

Sabotage is directed by David Ayer (End of Watch) and written by Skip Woods (A Good Day to Die Hard, The A-Team). The film follows Arnold Schwarzenegger as the leader of an elite DEA task force that takes on the world's deadliest drug cartels. When the team successfully executes a high-stakes raid on a cartel safe house they think all is done. But one-by-one, the ten members mysteriously start to be eliminated. Joe Manganiello, Sam Worthington, Harold Perrineau, Terrence Howard, Max Martini, Josh Holloway, Olivia Williams and Mireille Enos also star in the film which Open Road Films releases April 11th, 2014. Good?

To be fair, for an action movie, this is actually a pretty good premise/plot. A good cast too.

This looks great. Though I'm not confident in the writer of it, this director, David Ayer, is really great. He's made two of the best crime movies I've ever seen, End of Watch and Harsh Times. He even wrote Training Day, so this guy definitely knows how to handle crime on film. I can't wait to see this film. The April release date makes me confident that this will be a great film on the same level as End of Watch, if not better.

Mr. Schwarzeneggers acting is getting much better now he's older. That one word "NO" as an answer to the question "Did you steal it?" had more acting power in it that some of his entire (action) comedies...

Lets hope that this movie is as good as it seems to be, then he'll probably get better roles than those few movies he's done recently. Would like to see him perform in something else than action too, to see if he could manage that...

Interesting thought... How about Arnie doing a Gordon Gekko kind of character? The kind of powerful part that on the other hand doesn't require him to grab a gun...

Damn. Looks great. I love Ayer's filmography. Gritty cop drama's are always fun.

I'm all over this. Damn it feels good having Arnie back on screen. Gotta say though, his Forrest Gump cut is bugging me. Am I alone on that one?

Whoa. Wouldn't have recognized Worthington at all, if they hadn't shown his name. 🙂

That looked pretty good. Now, can we have an alternate trailer using the Beastie Boys?

Good to see Schwarzy back and an ok trailer. But End of Watch... aptly named movie... It was so badly directed watching it had to be ended long before the movie was over. Intention was good, execution awful, constant use of the DV was not adding any realism but drowning the whole story in useless tiring noise... Doesn't matter. Second try for Ayer, good for him, I'm sure he'll get rid of the gimmicks and do better on this one.

... Are you all sure it's not a mirage? Because if not then... oh no, it's sabotage. This comment needed to happen! DEAL WITH IT!

Looks great but seems like the writers basically stole this from an arc of The Shield from the 2nd (or maybe it was the 3rd???) season.
