American Hustle Trailer

"He had this confidence that drew me to him." Now that's what I'm talking about! Columbia has released another new theatrical trailer for David O. Russell's American Hustle, finally spending time explaining a bit more of the fun 1970s story and who all the players are in it. Christian Bale stars along with Jennifer Lawrence, Bradley Cooper, Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner in the real life story of Abscam. The first trailer for this movie was damn good, but this is finally the one I've been waiting to see. They've ramped things up with great music, and finally good editing with a focus on the characters. Check this out below!

Here's the second full trailer for David O. Russell's American Hustle, originally from Yahoo:

American Hustle is directed by David O. Russell (Flirting with Disaster, Three Kings, I Heart Huckabees, The Fighter, Silver Linings Playbook), working from a script he co-wrote with The International writer Eric Singer. The film, a fictional take on the 1970s FBI sting operation known as Abscam, follows a con-man (Christian Bale) from the Bronx who gets entangled with FBI agent Richie DiMaso (Bradley Cooper) as they try to turn the tables on other cons, mobsters, and politicians - namely, the volatile mayor of impoverished Camden, New Jersey. Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams, Robert De Niro, Jeremy Renner and Louis C.K. also star in the film. Columbia will release American Hustle starting on December 13th this winter. You down?

It's a shame that movie didn't get a sequel. Unexpectedly I very much enjoyed it.

Did you miss the B-Team?

Not to mention his upcoming performance in GotG. He'll be a hell of a Rocket! Or was it a Raccoon...?

Nash on Oct 10, 2013

Not a fan either, but he did half win me over in The Place Beyond The Pines. I have high hopes for him in this one...

The style back then was so Oversized everything. The movie itself looks incredible. Powerhouse talent.

Loved the first trailer and this one is nearly as good. Plus, any trailer that uses ELO's 10538 Overture is a winner in my book.

cuckoozey on Oct 10, 2013

ELO is making more now than they ever did in the 70's. Must be nice.

Holt sh!t, that belly is real. Bale is nuts, just how much he loses and gains for films. The trailer looks good, but I'm not hooked yet. Maybe
