Don Jon

After the first trailer for Joseph Gordon-Levitt's directorial debut Don Jon, which premiered at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival to rave reviews (including our own), audiences should be excited to see what a promising filmmaker the star of Angels in the Outfield has turned out to be, along with his impressive acting career. Now Gordon-Levitt is back with one of his co-stars from his younger years as Tony Danza plays Gordon-Levitt's father in this sort of anti-romantic comedy which also stars Scarlett Johansson. This short new trailer focuses more on the lead character Don Jon than the actual story, but it's still a good peek.

Here's the second trailer for Joseph Gordon-Levitt's Don Jon, originally from Yahoo:

Jon Martello (Joseph Gordon-Levitt, who also wrote and directed the film) is a strong, handsome, good old-fashioned guy with the ability to "pull" a different woman every weekend, but even the finest fling doesn't compare to the bliss he finds alone in front of the computer watching pornography. Barbara Sugarman (Scarlett Johansson) is a beautiful, good old-fashioned girl. Raised on romantic Hollywood movies, she's determined to find her Prince Charming and ride off into the sunset. Wrestling with good old-fashioned expectations of the opposite sex, Jon and Barbara struggle against a media culture full of false fantasies to try and find true intimacy. Relativity Media will open Don Jon on September 27th. Go see it.
