The Hangover Part III

"We've been on a lot of adventures together, but it seems like you haven't learned anything." The time has come for The Wolf Pack to have their final dangerous adventure. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha are all back for the third and final installment in this unlikely franchise with The Hangover Part III. The first trailer doesn't really give up any of the plot, but we do get a first look at John Goodman and Melissa McCarthy in the film, and Wolfmother provides another track for the sequel. There's a prison riot, Chow as a police officer, a bunch of criminals and a giraffe. Yes, a giraffe.

Here's the first trailer for Todd Phillips' The Hangover Part III, direct from Warner Bros:

The Hangover Part III is directed by Todd Phillips (The Hangover, Old School) from a script he co-wrote with Craig Mazin (The Hangover Part II, Identity Thief) This time, there’s no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off. Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, Bradley Cooper, Justin Bartha, Ken Jeong, Heather Graham and Jeffrey Tambor reprise their roles from the previous films, and will also be joined by John Goodman and Melissa McCarthy. The third and final chapter of The Hangover franchise from Warner Bros. will hit theaters on Memorial Day, May 24th.

Nothing in the trailer made me laugh. That's not a good thing.

david boon on Mar 7, 2013

I found that the jokes weren't what made me laugh in the first ones as much as the delivery.

OfficialJab on Mar 7, 2013

Really stop complaining the trailer is not funny, at least they are not showing the whole entire film. I'm sure they are saving all the best parts for the movie which is a good thing. This is how trailers should be done.

JerkeyBoy on Mar 7, 2013

Oh no, the man in charge of world comedy didn't laugh at this trailer. He's right, this is not a good thing. Clearly nobody else in the entire world will enjoy it if he didn't. They should just pull the plug.

davidshaw on Mar 7, 2013

Would you rather they showed us every funny part of the movie out of context so it can be half as funny when you actually get to watch the damn thing? Geez. This looks like a return to awesome to me.

JL on Mar 7, 2013

Probably the best movie trilogy ever made.

Carpola on Mar 7, 2013

wait, what ?

Tester on Mar 7, 2013

You're a comedian right, and that was a joke...right?

JBrotsis on Mar 7, 2013

Naw man, I'm super serious and psyched for this booze comedy.

Carpola on Mar 7, 2013

Looks OK.

Nielsen700 on Mar 7, 2013

the giraffe part is pretty funny. the rest is meh

truong18 on Mar 7, 2013

stop being so negative about everything.. it's the first trailer of a movie that is supposed to make you lough.. how is suppose to make you lough if you are searching all the bad details ... relax and enjoy a little bit more...

Nicolas Dalli Bortolot on Mar 7, 2013

I think this looks great! I personally didn't care for Part II that much, but that trailer was very well done IMO. Excited to see John Goodman up in this.

Danimal on Mar 7, 2013

Can we all agree that "epic" has officially lost any semblance of meaning now?

福 赐 天上 on Mar 7, 2013

Wouldn't go that far, it's pretty watered down though.

avconsumer2 on Mar 7, 2013

That's an EPIC comment right there.

capitandelespacio on Mar 7, 2013

Trailer wasn't too funny, but I bet the whole movie will be entertaining. Honestly, getting a little tired of Melissa McCarthy being annoyingly the same all the time. Wish they opted out of her. John Goodman will be epic though

AnddroydAkroyd on Mar 7, 2013

So... this time there's no wedding, no bachelor party... and no plot whatsoever

capitandelespacio on Mar 7, 2013

No, they just don't tell you what the plot is in the trailer, and I'm happy they're not spelling everything out.

Ethan Anderton on Mar 7, 2013

I totally agree with you, Ethan. I like the trailers to be a hook to pull me into the theater. Sometimes giving something of the plot to make it interesting. This one is "ok", not giving much about what makes this movie special. I remember the first trailer of the first Hangover and it didn't give away the movie, but at least we have a first taste to make it almost interesting. Here we have some craaaaazy stuff happening and a title, that makes you remember the other movies, than making a statement about this one.

Guys come on stop on the hating. Everyone hated Part II because it was pretty much the saem thing. Now that we get promised that it will be different you guys are still complaining? Come on! The trailer is a good trailer. I can only tell that Alan will be doing his Alan thing, and the Wolfpack head back to Las Vegas for God knows what! It looks good.

Luis Eduardo Ortiz on Mar 7, 2013

I love how everyone loves to hate everything. STOP THE NEGATIVITY! This movie looks EPIC and HILARIOUS ENJOY IT!!!!! and also enjoy that they're not giving away too much as they did in part 2 trailers!

Adam Lubicz on Mar 7, 2013

Is this a action movie or comedy??

Ben on Mar 7, 2013

I enjoyed it, in Mr.Chow's voice "haters going to hate"

ocp on Mar 7, 2013

I feel like the same people who complain when trailers give everything away came here to complain that this trailer didn't give anything away. Can't please everyone I suppose, but the fact the the whole plot wasn't spoiled in 60 seconds is NOT an indication to be alarmed that this movie will stink, it's a sign that the filmmakers actually had an ounce of restraint in promoting the movie. As a side note, Melissa McCarthy is in everything these days. And I don't mind it one bit.

Wafffles on Mar 7, 2013

WoW, I didnt know Jackie Chan was in it....!!!!

I don't wanna grow up, I'm a Toy 'R Us kid...

Akirakorn on Mar 7, 2013

That ending was FANTASTIC hahahahahahah I didn't see that coming... Giraffe deaths are so few and so priceless...

Greg dinskisk on Mar 7, 2013

The plot is that Alan's dad dies from a heart attack after the giraffe incident, then the Wolfpack holds an intervention for Alan to get him to go to a mental hospital, on the way to the M.H they get run off the road and kidnapped by the guys in pig masks. Who are John Goodmans goons. John goodman plays a drug lord named Marshall, whom is Black Doug's (Hangover 1) boss. From there it gets wired and is all about how Chow is a thief and stole $$$ from Goodman. Goodman holds White Doug hostage and forces the Wolfpack to go find and bring back Mr Chow. I saw this at a screening and it was terrible! The writing was horrid, almost as if a 5th grader who loves fart jokes wrote it. I was very disappointed.

Moviewatcher on Mar 7, 2013

There is also NO HANGOVER in this movie, I repeat NO HANGOVER. I

Moviewatcher on Mar 7, 2013

This looks bad

Brian Ricci Movie Review on Mar 7, 2013

Your average white trash person will enjoy this dumb shit of a flick. Comedy movies these days is going down hill.
