Though the film has already hit theaters and London, and played for an audience at Comic-Con (read my glowing review right here), Edgar Wright's sci-fi action comedy The World's End still doesn't hit theaters here in the United States until August 23rd. So while you wait to partake in the pure bliss that is the end of the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy, why not check out a new featurette focusing on the premise of the film where Simon Pegg and his crew's hometown is not what it used to be. Plus, Wright, Pegg and Nick Frost shot a PSA for the Alamo Drafthouse's strict rules about cell phone usage in theaters. Watch!
Here's the new featurette for Edgar Wright's The World's End from the film's YouTube channel:
And here's the new Alamo Drafthouse PSA featuring Edgar Wright, Simon Pegg & Nick Frost:
Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Hot Fuzz) is writing and directing The World's End, third part of the Three Flavours Cornetto trilogy, starring Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. 20 years after attempting an epic pub crawl, five childhood friends reunite when one of them (Pegg) becomes hellbent on restaging a drinking marathon and reach the fabled pub, The World's End. As they attempt to reconcile the past and present, they realize the real struggle is for the future, not just their's but humankind’s. Paddy Considine, Martin Freeman, Rosamund Pike and Eddie Marsan also star in the film arriving in US theaters on August 23rd.

I really hope they make more films together. They are my Trinity.

Still haven't got to the cinema to see this, damn you summer holidays and having to look after a child! Can't wait to see it though.

No, I'm not sadly. I am from California, USA. When you say "Northern part", that is of England or Scotland? I had the pleasure of meeting Britons from all over the country while traveling around SE Asia and grew to like the regional accents of The UK. Still have some trouble understanding a couple of them (Yorkshire/Derbyshire in particular).

Yep, I'm up in Scotland David, I know what you mean by the accents! Some parts of the Uk are pretty abstract in their use of the English language, I quite like that though.
