Watch: Third & Final Trailer for 'A Good Day to Die Hard' Kicks Ass
"Double-O-Seven of Plainfield, New Jersey?" Fox is really pushing this to the masses. One more trailer, making it the third and presumably final (following the first and second) full-length trailer for John Moore's Die Hard #5, titled A Good Day to Die Hard, is out now for our viewing. Bruce Willis is back as John McClane on a trip to Russia where he bumps into his son Jack, played by Jai Courtney, and some Russian terrorists with big ass armored vehicles. This trailer is long and really gets into the plot and yet still packs about 15 explosions and absurd dialogue. But it looks like so much fun! Who doesn't love mindless action?
Here's the third & final trailer for John Moore's A Good Day to Die Hard, in high def from Apple:
A Good Day to Die Hard is the fifth installment in the long running Die Hard franchise following Bruce Willis as Detective John McClane. John Moore (Max Payne, Behind Enemy Lines) directs the sequel written by Skip Woods (The A-Team, X-Men Origins: Wolverine). This time McClane finds himself in Russia where nothing is as it seems and he must team up with his estranged son (Jai Courtney) in order to stay alive in Moscow and keep the world safe for democracy. Cole Hauser, Sebastian Koch, Yulia Snigir and more star in the film which will hit theaters for an explosive Valentine's Day on February 14th. Planning to see this?

It's a good day to die with an erection? No, I don't think so. Die Hard used to be a good series of films until the fourth came with these daughters and sons and stupid characters and CGI.

The way I look at it is, at least there not trying to reboot the franchise. Yet that is!

The Die Hard series is still awesome with their daughters, and stupid characters. And there's barely any CG in the fourth one.

I'm in (as I always am with Die Hard movies), but the cars getting "plowed" by the truck without even making contact is just embarrassingly bad film making.

Hmm... I thought that was a lot better than the other trailers.

Sadly, I'm a little behind on my Die Hard's. Is it gonna matter if I haven't seen the others except the first one (is this a continuation) or is this just a standalone but a fourth to the series?

It doesnt matter there all pretty self contained, personally I thought DH3 was better than the 2nd and 4th.

There may be some references to the other films, but probably nothing that will throw you off. Although I do recommend watching the third one as well, just because its really good.

Bad bad bad. What i loved about Die hard and what made the movies was that he was mostly ALONE in these situations. This looks like your typical action movie. meh
buzzfunk on Jan 3, 2013
The only one that he was alone in was the first one. He had numerous helpers/sidekicks in Die Harder, Samuel Jackson in Die Hard With A Vengeance, and Justin Long in Live Free Or Die Hard.

Looks fun. I'm not exactly action film fan but i really enjoyed all four films in DIe Hard franchise so far. This one might deliver as well ( at least on action part ).
